Our Christmas toy donations to Dunston Help for Families
This Christmas, Team Valley Group has once again supported Dunston Help for Families with its Christmas Toy Appeal.
Dunston Help for Families is a community charity that helps support struggling local families throughout the year, especially so at Christmas. It is dedicated to supporting and improving the lives of those in need, and every year, its Christmas Toy Appeal provides an opportunity to help ensure all children receive a special gift on Christmas day.
This year, the response to our toy appeal for the charity has been fantastic, and thanks to the generosity of our local community, we have donated more than 50 toys to the cause.
Our collection ran from 1-13 December, where we received donations of toys for all ages, as well as rolls of wrapping paper and wrapping materials, including sellotape. Local businesses were invited to leave unwrapped donations under our Christmas tree in our reception area. It was heartwarming to see the pile grow as the days went by and the donations flooded in.
Vikki McIsaac, Team Valley Group’s Marketing Director, said: “It is important to everyone at the Team Valley Group that we support the community we operate in by doing what we can. Dunston Help for Families annual toy appeal is an initiative close to our hearts. Every child deserves a gift at Christmas and we hope to make a positive difference to a little boy or girl’s Christmas by supporting the appeal.”
