Summer round-up 2021: what we’ve been up to
Despite the hardships of the past year, we’re tackling 2021 head-on and are continuing to help businesses, both new and old, to spring back after lockdown, with tailored solutions to get brands back on the marketing map. Putting Team Valley Signs in the driver’s seat
A new van for new ventures. This year we invested in a new vehicle for Team Valley Signs, complete with branded graphics to showcase our services. Offering the design, manufacture and installation of stand-out signage for businesses across the region, the new van is now being used for delivery and professional installation for clients, ensuring that their signage is fitted correctly and displayed to their exact specifications for a long-lasting marketing solution.
A pivoting response to Covid-19
2020 was tough. For everyone. With businesses closing and clients on furlough, we needed to be dynamic and adapt to unprecedented change in order to provide a product that were compatible with our existing services, whilst being sought after during a pandemic. Harnessing the power of print, we began to supply essential workplace safety signage and Covid-19 displays to North East businesses, helping them to keep staff and the local community safe whilst on premises.
Increasing print capacity, sustainably
An eco-friendly investment. The most recent edition to our creative print studio has been a new Epson printer that is compatible with eco-solvent inks, in a bid to tackle our environmental footprint. With lockdown restrictions eased, Team Valley Printers have been busy creating high quality signage and a range of marketing and promotional material for clients raring to go post-covid. With the influx of work, the innovative technology offered by our new wide-format printer is helping to propel our printed media off the press efficiently and in an eco-friendly way.
Team Valley Publications is prospering
With our best financial year on record, we are celebrating the success of our exclusive advertising services, which have boomed over the past year. With businesses reopening and entrepreneurs having the time over lockdown to set up their very own dream businesses, spaces in The Advertiser and Business Networx have been in high demand. Both magazines provide local companies with a great opportunity to promote their services across Gateshead, Newcastle and the surrounding area.
The launch of Team Valley Marketing
Offering in-house marketing, copywriting, blog writing, press releases and more, Team Valley Group’s newest addition is committed to raising the profile of local brands and helping businesses achieve an effective marketing strategy. The birth of Team Valley Marketing is a sure-fire way to ensure that our clients are not only receiving full-service printing and high quality web design, but are also developing a cohesive marketing strategy.
Bringing new talent to the team
We’re always on the lookout for talented individuals to bring unique skill sets to the team. Between 2020-21, we have brought on board four talented employees to help Team Valley Group grow. Our new graphic designer Oliver is a specialist in creative design and develops unique, high quality graphics for publications. Our Digital Printer apprentice Justin brings a strong technical and design ability to our print team. Adam also joined the team this year and is a highly skilled web developer working on front-end development. The newly launched Team Valley Marketing appointed Hannah, a content marketer and copywriter, to craft creative digital content for our clients. We are excited to see the new recruits elevate our services, ensuring that we produce the best marketing solution possible for the local businesses we support.
An office refresh
With new recruits and Covid-19 guidelines to follow, 2021 was the perfect time for an office refresh. We had an exciting reshuffle and installed glass panelling into the open plan office space, creating a spacious and collaborative environment. To ensure our premises are properly ventilated and Covid-19 secure, we had air conditioning installed in the building. Many thanks to HLA for installing the system and providing an excellent service.
