Ambic Manufacturing has been helping businesses of all kinds make better use of their spaces for more than 40 years. From education and healthcare to commercial and public sector projects, the company designs, manufactures, and installs furniture and fit-out solutions that solve practical problems and look supremely stylish while doing it.
It just so happens they’re also the team responsible for fitting out TVG’s very own office refurbishment. So, when the time came for Ambic to invest in a new website, it felt only right that we returned the favour with a space that was just as impeccably cool and intuitive as the one they crafted for us.
Ambic’s previous website did the job. Sort of. The problem was that the business had come a long way over the years, and the website hadn’t quite kept pace. Visitors could see what the team did, but they couldn’t fully appreciate the scale of the projects, the breadth of sectors served, or the expertise sitting behind every installation.
As you can imagine, we were keen to tell that story in the way that it deserved to be told.
This is a business that designs, manufactures, installs, manages projects, runs STEM initiatives, works across multiple sectors, and delivers neat solutions rather than just products. And yet, so much of that was hidden beneath a website that lacked the depth and visual impact it really needed to showcase it all properly.
This wasn’t a refresh. This was a completely bespoke website built from the ground up around Ambic’s business and ambitions. After all, that’s what they do for others.
Working closely with Liam and the team, we designed and developed a site that reflects the quality of their work while making it easier for visitors to explore projects, understand services, discover sectors, and – of course – get in touch.
We considered every page with immense care. Every interaction had a purpose. Every design choice was made to support the user journey while showcasing the impressive work Ambic delivers every day. And like any well-designed workspace, everything needed to work together to serve the larger whole.
The new Ambic website immediately feels different. Rather than overwhelming visitors with walls of text or endless navigation options, the site leads people naturally through the business. The homepage introduces Ambic’s ‘We solve spaces’ philosophy from the jump, before guiding visitors towards services, projects, sectors, products, and contact points.
Like we often say, a more visual approach allows the work to do the talking. Featured projects showcase the variety of spaces Ambic operates in, while carefully structured content blocks help break down complex services into something far more digestible.
And then there was the project section. Instead of just listing completed work, projects are presented through an engaging visual layout that highlights sectors, locations, imagery, and key information at a glance. This creates a much stronger showcase of Ambic’s capabilities while helping prospective clients quickly identify relevant work.
The service and sector pages follow a similarly thoughtful approach, using interactive content cards and image carousels to demonstrate expertise without overwhelming the user. And now we finally get to talk about the STEM Challenge.
One of the most distinctive (and coolest) areas of the site, this section uses dynamic scrolling interactions, embedded video content, and striking imagery to create a genuinely different experience. It reflects the energy and enthusiasm behind the brilliant initiative while giving it the prominence it deserves. Give this one a look.
Just like The Supremes (and Phil Collins) once said, it’s a game of give and take. As we mentioned up top, Ambic supplied and installed much of the furniture and workspace solutions during our office refurb that helped bring our rebranded space to life.
That put us in a unique position. After all, we’ve experienced first-hand the impeccable craftsmanship and professionalism that goes into every Ambic project because we see it every day when we walk into the office and sit down at our lovely, sturdy desks.
Simply put, we already knew the quality of the business. Our job was to make sure everyone else could see it too. There’s something rather satisfying about two local businesses helping each other showcase what they do best, don’t you think?
Ambic’s now got a website that reflects the quality of the work behind the name. Their new platform gives the team room to showcase projects properly, communicate their expertise in a crystal-clear way, and highlight exactly how they make it all happen.
But more importantly than all that, it gives them a rock-solid foundation for future growth. New projects can be added at the drop of a hat. News can be shared more regularly. Visitors can get to where they’re going without bumping into barriers.
For a company whose mission is to solve spaces, it felt fitting to create a website that solves a few problems too. Got web problems of your own you’d like squashed? Give our team a buzz and we’ll get things going.
